The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the first group of 91 high-standard digital parks across China, including three parks from Guizhou province, with Guiyang Economic Technology Development Zone (GETDZ) selected as a comprehensive digital park.
The park promotes digital transformation through four dimensions: industry, services, management, and digital infrastructure, with 73 large-scale industrial enterprises having achieved a digitalization level of grade two or above, and 21 projects recognized as national pilot demonstrations for intelligent manufacturing.
The park hosts the National Intellectual Property Operation Center for Aerospace Equipment, and several of its business service cases have received national-level recognition. It has also established a digital information management platform that enables cross-departmental data sharing, with 428 enterprises managing pollution-related business processes online.
The zone has built 1,622 5G base stations, achieving a 99 percent coverage rate for dual-gigabit networks. The park is equipped with cloud computing facilities, green data centers, and resources for computing power and data storage. It is also home to China's first national pilot zone for big data security.
GETDZ plans to further enhance its infrastructure, advance digital transformation for enterprises, and explore scalable, replicable models for building digital parks.
