Guizhou province has unveiled its list of advanced-level smart factories for 2026, with six enterprises from the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GEDTZ) making the cut, comprising Guiyang Hisense Electronics Co, AVIC Guizhou Honglin Co, Guizhou Guicai Innovative Technology Co, Guizhou Aerospace Electronics Co, Sinopharm Group Tongjitang (Guizhou) Pharmaceuticals Co, and Guizhou Aerospace Control Technology Co.
In April, Guizhou introduced a tiered cultivation plan for smart factories, classifying smart factories into four levels: basic, advanced, excellent, and pioneering, each with defined construction standards and developmental directions.
GEDTZ has implemented these provincial cultivation policies through initiatives such as online campaigns and on-site visits. The zone has also established a database for digital transformation projects and provides ongoing project monitoring and one-on-one services to local enterprises.
The enterprises recognized in this round have all completed their digital and intelligent transformations, developing mature smart manufacturing solutions across industries such as electronic information, high-end equipment, and healthcare.
GETDZ's government will continue to support these enterprises in deepening their transformations and expanding digital applications across production processes, product lifecycles, and all segments of the industrial value chain, guiding them toward higher levels of smart factory excellence.
