Four hundred custom-made pilgrimage buses produced by Chery & Wanda Guizhou Bus Co (Chery & Wanda) recently left Guiyang and will be shipped to Saudi Arabia soon via sea.
They are specifically designed to withstand high temperatures and complex road conditions. The buses feature monocoque body structures, upgraded air conditioning, insulation, sealing systems, and reinforced chassis and suspension. They can operate in extreme environments exceeding 50 C.

The project took half a year from initiation to mass production, setting a record for the company's largest overseas dispatch for a single order. Chery & Wanda has expanded its export footprint from two countries to over 20 since entering the international market in 2023. It plans to export 1,000 buses by the end of this year.
Chery & Wanda boasts over 40 years of experience in bus manufacturing, with complete production lines for welding, painting, and assembly. Its products span sectors such as passenger transport, tourism, and public transit.
According to industry data, the company’s new energy buses over six meters in length rank fifth in domestic sales, while its models over 3.5 meters hold seventh place in overseas exports.
This export milestone showcases the global competitiveness of Guizhou manufacturing and Chinese buses.
