Guizhou Yudie Electric Co (Yudie), based in the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ), has been shortlisted for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "2025 Green Factories and Green Industrial Parks".
Yudie is among the earliest enterprises in China to specialize in wire and cable production and has repeatedly undertaken national key projects, including the production of ultra-high-voltage transmission and transformation lines.
Yudie's promotion of integrating digitalization and green development has led to the establishment of a digital factory, with its wire production workshop creating 12 intelligent wire and cable production lines, enabling fully automated operations across heating, packaging, and storage.
This smart manufacturing workshop is connected to an intelligent warehouse via automated conveyor belts that transport finished products, significantly improving production efficiency and reducing costs, showcasing remarkable progress in intelligent, green, and integrated development.
GETDZ has long promoted green manufacturing, driving the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries toward green and low-carbon development. It encourages enterprises to address green and low-carbon requirements throughout the product lifecycle and to accelerate their green transition. With the addition of Guizhou Yudie to the list, GETDZ has now cultivated seven national-level green factories.
