The international standard "Rosa Roxburghii Juice – Specification and Test Methods" has been approved as a project by the International Organization for Standardization Food Committee's Subcommittee on Fruits, Vegetables, and Products. The project is led by China National Pharmaceutical Group Tongjitang (Guizhou) Co (Tongjitang), in collaboration with the China National Research Institute of Food and Fermentation Industries and the Guizhou Natural Products Research Center.
The standard project is supported by the Guizhou Rosa roxburghii industry innovation center platform, established by Tongjitang and related organizations. It entered the proposal voting stage on July 22, 2025, and gained approval from 10 member countries. Experts from Russia, Serbia, Sri Lanka, and Turkiye joined in developing the standard and advancing the formulation of the international standard for Rosa roxburghii juice.

It has developed a diversified product portfolio centered on Rosa roxburghii resources, covering pharmaceuticals, health foods, conventional foods, and cosmetics. Rosa roxburghii juice is a specialty product of Guizhou, renowned for its high vitamin C content, superoxide dismutase, and other nutrients. The approval of this international standard provides strong technical support and quality assurance for Guizhou's Rosa roxburghii juice products to enter the global market.
