Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone will continue to upgrade its industrial capabilities and build five 10-billion-yuan ($1.43 billion) level industrial clusters during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30).

Leveraging its aviation industrial base, the zone will build an industrial cluster for key aviation components and supporting facilities for large aircraft production.
It will optimize the electronic information manufacturing industry by developing industrial clusters for LCD TVs, servers, and copper-based new materials.
The zone will also expand the new energy automobile industry, encouraging local enterprises including Chery and Wanda Guizhou Bus Co and Zhonghui Heavy Industries to lay out industries such as intelligent Internet-connected vehicles and gearboxes and accelerate the creation of a closed industrial loop from core parts to complete vehicle manufacturing.
Additionally, the zone will enhance spatial governance, optimize spatial layout, and improve the development of supporting industrial infrastructure, guiding the digital, intelligent, green, and standardized development of industrial parks.
