Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone worked diligently to promote the integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation during the 14th Five-Year plan period (2021-25).
The zone has cultivated 160 national high-tech enterprises, seven national technological innovation platforms, 88 provincial technological innovation platforms, and 11 national specialized and new "little giant" enterprises. A total of 51 projects pocketed the Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology award.
GETDZ will improve its scientific and technological innovation system and mechanism, and step up efforts to cultivate fresh momentum during the 10th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30).
It will accelerate the creation of a number of high-level platforms, such as technology innovation centers at or above the provincial level, support leading enterprises in establishing industrial chain pilot platforms, and plan the construction of regional science and technology innovation clusters.
In addition, it will form a diversified investment pattern of "financial guidance, enterprise entity, financial support, and industry-academy-research linkage", and focus on supporting core technology research in aerospace and high-end equipment manufacturing.
