Since 2023, Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) has implemented the "Four Green Actions" – green production, green consumption, green living, and green civilization – as part of its commitment to achieving "dual carbon" goals.

Adhering to the principle of "ecology first", GETDZ has formulated detailed work mechanisms and an assessment system based on its green economic development plan. This has led to the establishment of green factories, sustainable supply chains, and other environmentally focused projects. To date, 12 out of 16 key performance indicators have been met, with significant progress in new energy buses and green buildings.

GETDZ is also enhancing industrial value chains and expanding green industry clusters. The zone has cultivated several national-level green factories, fostering innovation among high-tech companies to promote sustainable manufacturing practices.

The zone is accelerating the creation of "15-minute living circles" to promote green consumption. Under this initiative, supermarkets are setting up dedicated green sections to increase the availability of eco-friendly products, promote energy-saving practices, and support the expansion of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

On the green living front, GETDZ is advancing green transportation, sustainable building, and waste-free urban development projects to create an eco-friendly environment. Introducing new energy buses and green building projects has greatly improved residents' quality of life while reducing carbon emissions.

Through these multifaceted initiatives, GETDZ is actively working to build a green civilization, raise environmental awareness, and encourage the widespread adoption of low-carbon, sustainable lifestyles.
