This year, the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has promoted the development of new-type urbanization in various fields.

At the beginning of this year, GETDZ started construction on Qingshuijiang-Pujiang Road, Jinxi Avenue and other roads, consistently improving the road network system and traffic efficiency.

Qingshuijiang-Pujiang Road has been decongested, diverting traffic from Pujiang Road to Huanghe Road and improving the flow of traffic.

Construction on two smart parking lots, including the Lejie community parking lot and Xiaomeng Industrial Park parking building, has started, with a total of 1,340 parking spaces. The exits and entrances will be unmanned, and parking spaces can be reserved directly through mobile phones.

The Lejie community parking lot has complete ground leveling and the surface cleaning of some mechanical parking spaces. The main parking lot and secondary structure of the Xiaohe-Mengguan Industrial Park parking building have been completed and are expected to be completed within this year.

GETDZ has also started the application of new-type urbanization fund projects, actively seeking provincial and municipal new-type urbanization funds and subsidy funds for enterprise projects in its jurisdiction making financing cheaper and easier.

It has declared 18 provincial new urbanization investment fund projects, eight provincial new urbanization special fund projects, and 15 Guiyang new urbanization investment fund projects.

Moving forward, GETDZ will continue to improve infrastructure, bring in headquarters enterprises, and cultivate digital industrial buildings, as well as strengthen policy guidance and support, to advance its high-quality development.
