The Guizhou Provincial Big Data Information Security Product Inspection and Testing Center was established in the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – in 2020.
In September 2017, the center was approved for construction, and GETDZ's inspection and testing center was responsible for the preparation.
Since the approval of construction, GETDZ had carried out preliminary research related to the big data security industry and corresponding inspection and testing technical support and accelerated the construction of the center based on its location, policy, technical advantages and talent pool.
The center has served more than 1,000 enterprises and institutions, including the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST), with an annual inspection income of more than 12 million yuan ($1.79 million).
The center provides inspection and testing services for 21 information security products, including terminal security login systems, firewalls, intrusion detection and defense, servers and routers, and electromagnetic compatibility testing and testing services for information security products.
To accelerate cutting-edge technological research and development, the center has carried out research and innovation in security product testing and research and development, and owns a group of independent core and key technologies.
Moving forward, the center will further expand its inspection and testing capabilities and plan, and prepare for the establishment of a national network information security industry measurement and testing center to ensure the safe development of the big data industry.
