Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) organized a visit by a group of talents and industry experts on Oct 29, to communicate with big data companies in the zone to provide fresh ideas for their development.
GETDZ is located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The event aimed to build an industry exchange platform. It also aimed to promote exchanges between people and mutual learning among companies and to seek out development and business opportunities for the big data industry.
The group visited five big data companies in the GETDZ: Guizhou Huayun Xin'an Technology Co, Guizhou Guowei Xin'an Technology Co, Guiyang Suofei Yunzhi Technology Co, Guizhou Qianlong Tushi Technology Co and Guiyang Ailishi Information Technology Co.
Experts said big data companies in the zone should strengthen industry exchanges and promote communications between talent and technology.
They said government departments should actively establish a good communications environment and focus on training technical big data personnel.
One expert, Bao Yiping, said similar industry activities should be organized to promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation between big data companies.
