The "Guidelines for the Construction and Quality and Safety Management of Shared Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacy" compiled by Sinopharm Group Tongjitang (Guizhou) Pharmaceutical Co was recently officially released with the approval of the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau of Guizhou Province.

The company is located in the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The guidelines are the latest local standard for the new "internet + traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)" service model in Guizhou. They will be implemented in the province from Jan 1, 2022.

Shared TCM pharmacy means reforming and innovating TCM service models relying on the internet, internet of things and big data technologies, and creating one-stop pharmacies with systematic review methods, scientific decoction, vacuum bagging, and home delivery.

By promoting cooperation between shared TCM pharmacies and medical institutions, the standard helps improve scale efficiency, speed up circulation, and reduce distribution costs and drug price differences.

It can make seeing a doctor easier, further conserve medical resources, and reduce burdens and increase efficiency at medical institutions.
